The Yemeni community in the Canadian capital, Ottawa, in collaboration with the Canadian Yemeni Women’s Association, is honored to organize a celebratory event for Eid al-Fitr. The event will take place in a social environment that reflects the spirit of brotherhood and belonging among the community members.

The event is scheduled for Friday, March 20, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brian Kilrea Arena, and admission is free for everyone.

The celebration includes a diverse program that caters to different interests, with two separate sections for men and women. In the women’s section (Hall A), activities will include sharing Eid dishes and sweets, a special photo corner for women, henna for girls, distributing Eid gifts to children, as well as entertainment competitions with symbolic prizes.

In the men’s section (Hall B), activities will include sharing Eid dishes, distributing Eidi to children, Yemeni folkloric performances, traditional dances, and organizing games for kids like tug-of-war and various fun activities.

This event aims to strengthen social bonds within the community.
