🇾🇪🇾🇪 Yemeni Community in Ottawa Celebrates the Glorious September 26 and October 14 Revolutions 🇾🇪🇾🇪
Amidst a patriotic and fraternal atmosphere filled with love and national pride, the Yemeni community in the Canadian capital, Ottawa, held a celebration marking the glorious Yemeni revolutions of September 26 and October 14. The event was attended by distinguished official and community figures.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Jamal Abdullah Al-Sallal, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Canada, and H.E. Ambassador Abdulhakim Al-Hammadi, alongside members of the Yemeni community residing in Ottawa who were keen to participate in this cherished national occasion.
The festivities began with a beautiful recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the playing of the national anthems of the Republic of Yemen and Canada. This segment reflected pride in the Yemeni national identity, respect for the host country, and the spirit of coexistence and affection uniting the community members.
H.E. Ambassador Jamal Abdullah Al-Sallal delivered a speech highlighting the importance of commemorating national occasions and the deep significance they hold for the Yemeni people. He emphasized the importance of communication, fraternity, and strengthening bonds of affection among the Yemeni community in Canada.
The head of the Yemeni community in Ottawa also delivered a speech welcoming the distinguished guests and extending heartfelt congratulations on this national occasion. He affirmed the community's commitment to continuing to host events that bring Yemenis together, foster communication among them, and preserve Yemeni identity, heritage, and culture in their adopted home. Amidst an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie, the event concluded with the cutting of a celebratory cake, joined by the attendees. Afterward, members of the community continued their friendly conversations and social interactions, reflecting a spirit of love and brotherhood.
